Spring Water vs. Sparkling Water: What’s the difference? As with many products, you may be overwhelmed by the number of options for drinking water. We’ll help you tell the difference so you can choose the best drinking water for your family. Tap Water In the US, tap water is considered healthy for our consumption and is provided by a government municipality. The EPA sets quality standards and water-testing schedules to ensure tap water has been treated and disinfected before distribution.
Not all bottled water is alike. “bottled” just describes how you get the water, it has nothing to do with the quality or makeup of the water. The FDA regulates bottled water, governing contamination levels, but the don’t perform mandatory testing like the EPA.
Distilled water is collected through a process that includes boiling and evaporating water then collecting the vapor that has condensed as a result of this process. This process removes contaminants from the water, but it also removes minerals that naturally occur.
Spring water, like that distributed by Mountain Park, is collected at the source. When collected from a natural spring, water is free of dangerous contaminants and full of naturally-occurring minerals and pH levels that will improve your overall health and hydration.
Artesian water only comes from rare sources around the globe. Water exists between layers of stone, clay, and other impermeable layers of the earth. Excessive pressure forces the water to the surface where it can be collected and bottled
I’m sure we can all agree it’s important to understand what we’re drinking. Our processes have improved with technology, but our quality standards have always been set at the highest level.
